Joseph Worthy
Joseph Worthy is the Founder, Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations at Worthy Financial Services. He began his career in financial services with Prudential in 1993. In 2005, he established his own financial services company which is now known as Worthy Financial Services.
Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Joseph’s goal is to actively help grow, preserve, and protect his clients’ assets. He strives to deliver an extraordinary level of personalized service with a great team alongside him.
Outside of the office, Joe and his wife Andi enjoy spending time at their bay home with family and friends. They currently reside in Westminster and have one daughter, two sons and two dogs.
Gary Pfaff
Gary Pfaff is the Marketing Manager for Worthy Financial Services. He studied Criminal Justice at Lycoming College which led to over 27 years of service with the Baltimore County Police Department. In 2007 Gary and his wife Susan decided to prepare for retirement by becoming a franchisee for SportClips, Inc, owning as many as 6 stores. Retiring from the BCoPD in 2013 gave Gary the opportunity to expand his extensive marketing experience by running the stores full time.
He is actively studying to take the Series 65 securities exam to become a licensed financial advisor.
Gary, an avid sports fan, enjoys tailgating at college football games and watching college basketball. He lives in Carroll County with his wife Susan, their twin daughters, and Bandit, a German Shepherd.
Susan Pfaff
Susan Pfaff is the Operations Manager for Worthy Financial Services. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilson College Susan spent 29 years at the National Aquarium managing the Admissions and Reservations departments. While new to the financial services industry, Susan’s management experience enhances her ability to provide excellent compliance, technical and research support for the Firm.
Susan enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family. She lives in Carroll County with her husband Gary, their twin daughters, and Bandit, a German Shepherd.
